JOPLIN, Mo. -- 55 high schools travelled to Missouri Southern State University for the Southern Stampede. 31 of those teams raced in the Green Division. Of those teams, Webb City Lady Cardinals placed 8th in the Stampede. Webb City was the only team in Southwest Missouri to crack the top 10.

Brooke Hedger led the way, placing 7th. Araceli Perez was the second Cardinal to pass the finish line at 34th.

Results

Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School's Ava Classen took first, with a 17:36.86 mark.

112th: Tatym Buster - 21:08.64

125h: Olivia Klotz - 21:25.37

198th: Aspen Ritchie - 22:48.63

The team finished in 8th with 267 points and a 2:46 1-5 split with an average time of 19:50. Manhattan High School took first with 96 points.

The JV Girls finished 7th overall with 134 points, a 1:52 1-5 split and 14:51 average. Isis Wishall led the team with an 11th place finish, tallying a 13:50.06 mark.
