JOPLIN, Mo. -- The Southern Stampede is one of the biggest meets of the season, and Webb City brought their A-game to town. Missouri Southern hosted their 36th Annual Southern Stampede. It's a meet that features more than 60 teams across two divisions. Webb City raced in the Green Division.
Andrew Dawson led the team Saturday with a 17th place finish, tallying a 15:54.97 mark. Noah Lankard wasn't far behind with a 16:06.62 finish in 27th. Sawyer Dalrymple also found himself earning a new personal record. He finished 37th with a 16:16.28 mark.

As a team, Webb City earned a 6th place finish with 227 points. The boys had a 0:55 1-5 split and 16:20 average. Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School took the gold in the Green Division with 72 points. 35 total teams competed in the Green Division.
The JV team finished in 2nd in the 3000 meter run, tallying 75 points. Joseph Smith and Cole Dalton finished 9th and 10th respectively.
