Cody Jolly and Nick Lovejoy each earned opening round victories at the MSHSAA wrestling championships in Columbia on Thursday.

Jolly, competing at 113, decisioned Ryan Sherry from Warrenton 9-3 to advance where he will face Malacai Collins from Warrensburg.

Lovejoey, competing at 182, decisioned Dakota Kee from Farmington 6-1.  He will face Warrenton's John Fillipek on Friday.

Their matches are scheduled for the afternoon session on Friday.  You can follow the matches at MSHSAA.
