Grant Berendt begins his first season as the head coach of the Webb City Lady Cardinals basketball program, his 10th season overall as a head coach and his 16th season of coaching overall.

During his coaching career his teams have won over 150 games, two conference championships, three district titles and a 2nd place Class 4 finish in 2020-21.

Berendt is a graduate of Missouri State University with a degree in Physical Education K-12. He received a Masters Degree in Athletic Administration from William Woods University. He and his wife, Emily have two children, son Gaines and daughter Gibson.
