COLUMBIA, Mo. - It took less than one month for Cross Country Junior Brooke Hedger to break her own school record.

The Lady Cardinals Cross Country team Saturday traveled to Columbia for the 2024 Gans Creek Classic. Hedger finished with a 18:24.30 time, breaking her previous school record of 18:30.11. The team finished in 1st place out of 22 teams.

RESULTS:

2nd - Brooke Hedger - 18:24.30

32nd - Emma McKinzie - 20:26.00

37th - Araceli Perez - 20:30.50

40th - Olivia Klotz - 20:35.40

65th - Brooke Collard - 21:18.60

82nd - Mia Antillon - 21:37.90

100th - Kristina Bundy - 22:02.70

The team finished with a 2:54 1-5 split and average time of 20:14.
