Webb City evened its record (3-3) with a sweep of the Seneca Indians at home on Tuesday night.
After falling behind at 5-3, the Cardinals began a 13-0 run with Senior Jaleigh James serving to take control of the first set. Webb City then jumped out 10-2 to start the second set and after Seneca closed to 16-13, finished by winning five of the last points for the sweep.
Aubre Conway-Owen led the team in kills with five followed by Anna Swearengen with four. James had four digs with Abby Brownfield and Allary Liberatore each with three. Liberatore recorded four aces on the evening and Talyn Smith recorded aces on three of her four serves.
The volleybal team will be at the Hillcrest tournament this weekend.
