The Lady Cardinals opened the 2017 season with a 4-0 win over the Monett Cubs on Monday night.  

Webb City, playing in their offensive end most of the evening, only netted a Kristi Fitch goal in the first half for a 1-0 half time lead.  Lauren Bryan scored twice in the first 10 minutes of the second half, each goal finding the back of the net from free kicks.  Sydney Dixon finished the scoring in the 63 minute.

The Cardinals will travel to Aurora on Thursday.
