BOLIVAR, Mo. -- Violet Haut earned herself a spot in the Class 3 State Golf Championship Thursday night. The freshman finished 11th place with All-District team honors during the Class 3 District 3 Golf Tournament. The tournament was played at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bolivar.

The Lady Cardinals also bid farewell to 3 seniors: Isabella Manes, Alyson Byrd, and Emerson Boulware.

Brooklyn Cartwright competed as well in the tournament, but dealt with an injury. Coach Jason Brown says she's looking forward to next season.

Haut travels to Springfield's Rivercut Golf Course to compete in the Class 3 State Championship October 21st & October 22nd.
