Second quarter burst lifts Cardinals to 65-34 win at Glendale

Back to back buckets inside from Adalyn Maxwell gave the Cardinals a one point lead at the end of the first quarter that started a 17-0 run helping the Cardinals clip the Falcons 65-34.  Webb City ultimately out scored Glendale 20 - 8 in building a 32-19 half time advantage, and after a 27-7 bulge in the third cruised through the fourth quarter to the win.

The second quarter run started with an Addie Burns bucket, followed by a three from Kenzie Horn, five consecutive points from Abby Sargent, a bucket from Whitlee Keith and ended with a free throw from Abby. 

Abby Sargent led the way with 21 points on 7-14 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line, while dishing out nine assists.  Addie Burns also hit half her shots, six of twelve, in garnering 14 points.  Brecklynn Sargent was a perfect 4-4 from the field and 2-2 from the charity stripe in totaling 10 points.  Also scoring 10 points was Adalyn Maxwell, 3-4 from the floor and 4-4 from the line.    

Webb City out rebounded the Falcons 27-9, forcing 21 turnovers.
