After falling behind 9-1 early in the first quarter, the Lady Cardinals outscored Marshfield 22-13 to take a 23-22 lead into halftime. They then used a 9-4 run, highlighted by a Lexey Kneib long range jumper to end the third quarter and maintained a lead throughout the final quarter enroute to a 56-46 victory.
Desirea Buerge led the Cardinals in scoring with 24 points as Mikaela Burgess added 19 in the winning effort.
Webb City had defeated Neosho on Friday night to reach the finals 63-58, with Burgess leading the way with 21 points.
The Cardinals (4-0) will entertain Joplin on Tuesday night
