The Lady Cardinals shutout Nixa 1-0 on Thursday afternoon, keeping their conference record unblemished.

Addie Darby limited Nixa to only one hit, striking out eight Eagles for the complete game win.  A one-out single in the sixth was Nixa's only hit.  The only trouble she faced was in the third when a walk and an error put two Eagles on base with only one out, but two fly ball outs ended the threat.

Mariah Newby doubled with one out in the first, stole third and scored on a passed ball for the only run that the Cardinals would need.  Mareika Turpen doubled in the fourth and a pinch hit single from Haidyn Berry in the fifth accounted for the only other hits on the day.  

Webb City (15-3) will entertain Logan-Rogersville on Monday before traveling to Ozark and Neosho.
