Webb City drilled 3 home runs enroute to a 7-3 victory over Republic to advance to the district 12 championship game.  They will meet Joplin, a 2-1 winner in thirteen innings over top seed McDonald County, at 12:00 on Saturday.

Kaitlin Beason drilled a solo homerun in the bottom of the first, Desirea Buerge hit a two run blast to left field in the fourth and Samantha Gilstrap pulled a solo shot to left in the sixth.  

The Cardinals were able to add three other runs throughout the game.  Morgan Lammey followed the Buerge blast with a triple and stole home as part of a double steal when Republic misplayed the throw.  Asia Bemo scored the Cardinal run in the fifth as she lead off with a bunt single and advanced home on a wild pitch.  Bemo also drove in the final run in the sixth inning with a double as Amanda Wallace, reaching on a walk, scampered home.

Beason earned the complete game victory, striking out twelve and only allowing three runs.
