The Lady Cardinals opened the home portion of their schedule with a 3-0 win over the Monett Cubs.

Kaitlin Beason provided the offense with a three run home run in the third inning and pitched a one hit complete game.  

Amanda Wallace singled with one out in third inning to start the rally.  Desirea Buerge followed with long single off the centerfield fence.  Lacy Resa attemted to move the runners with a bunt, but the Cubs were able to force Wallace at third, leaving two on with two outs.  Beason then launched her home run into a slight breeze over the center field fence.  

Beason struck out ten, only allowing a one out single to short center field in the complete game win.

Webb City travels to Branson on Thursday before hosting Jefferson City Helias in a two game weekend series.
