The Lady Cardinals 2012 season ended on Wednesday with a 11-2 loss to COC member Ozark in the Sectional round of the MSHSAA Class 4 playoffs.

Ozark scored three runs in the second, five in the third and three more in the fourth as they built an 11-0 lead.  

Webb City was only able to collect four hits on the day, including the two run scoring single from Samantha Gilstrap in the bottom of the fourth for the only runs.  Kaitlin Beason just missed a homerun in the first inning, doubling off the fence in right center.  Desirea Buerge and Asia Bemo had the only other hits.  

Beason started the game and was relieved by Kyra Parker in the fourth.  

The Cardinals end the season with a 23-5 record.  They were undefeated COC champions and District 12 Champions. They won the Carthage tournament and finished third in the season opening tournament at Joplin.
