Webb City rolled past Nixa 10-1 and completed a 7-0 march to the Central Ozark Conference Large Division championship.

The Cardinals (16-3) got on the scoreboard early when Lacy Resa doubled with one out in the first inning and Kaitlin Beason followed with a two-run homer.

The Cardinals added three more runs in the second and seventh innings as they outhit the Eagles 12-5. Beason, the starter, and Alex Brake, in relief, combined for 13 strikeouts and no walks.

Resa, Desirae Buerge, Samantha Gilstrap, Asia Bemo and Mollie Peoples slugged doubles for the Cardinals. Bemo finished with three hits while Peoples, Gilstrap and Lammey had two.

The Cardinals face McDonald County on Monday in their last regular season home game, before traveling to Nevada on Thursday before closing out the regular season at the Carthage tournament next weekend.
