The Lady Cardinals wrapped up a memorable season capturing a 3rd place trophy at the Missouri State Class 4 tournament.

Webb City bounced back from the opening round loss to defeat the St. Josephs Academy Angels 7-0 and finish the season 31-2.  

Callie Beaver scored the first three runs, walking and scoring on an Alexah Replogle triple in the first, doubling and scoring on a Replogle single in the third and singling and scoring on a Kaitlin Beason double in the fifth.

Morgan Lammey ran for Beason in the fifth and scored on a Replogle single.  Chelsea Smith followed with an RBI single and Webb City led 5-0 after 5 innings.

Beason doubled home the final two runs in the sixth.

Kyra Parker went the distance, earning the victory, striking out eight, only walking one and scattering five hits on the day.

Alexah Replogle finished with a 4-4 game and drove in 3 runs.  Beason also drove in three, and Callie scored four times.

The Cardinals dropped their semifinal game 4-0 to Oakville on Friday morning.  The Cardinals were only able to put two runners on base in the game receiving a walk from Asia Bema and a double from Lexie Gardner.  Oakville was able to put all their runs on the board with one swing, a two out homerun in the bottom of the third.
