Webb City scored seven times in the fourth inning and ended the game in the fifth to win the district title on Friday afternoon.  

The Cardinals scored twice in the second on back to back doubles from Shelby Stuck and Lexie Gardner to right center and Laney Kneib followed with a run scoring ground ball to lead 2-0.  

After Carthage tied the game in top of the third, the Cardinals scored three more runs in the bottom of the inning.  Morgan Coleman stroked a double to right center and advanced to third on a Kaitlin Beason ground out and hustled home on a Mustang error.  Alexah Replogle singled in front of a Chelsi Smith homerun and Webb City lead 5-2 after three.

The first seven batters reached base and scored in the decisive fourth inning.  

Coleman, Replogle and Smith each scored twice and every Cardinal scored a run on the day.

Webb City will now advance to face Nixa on Wednesday afternoon.
