The Lady Cards stopped Aurora 10-0 in five innings on Tuesday night. This was their home opener and pushed their record to 6-1 on the season.
After scoring single runs in each of the first two innings, Kaitlin Beason led off the third with a single. After a double from Alexah Replogle, Chelsea Smith delivered a long home run over the center field fence. The Cardinals added four more in the fourth as Shelby Stuck led off with a triple and scored on wild pitch and later in the inning Replogle launched her own three run homer to left field. The game ended with a single run in the bottom of the fifth. Kyra Parker earned the win in the circle.
The Lady Cards return to action on Thursday as they welcome Willard in their conference opener.
