JOPLIN, Mo. -- The boys cross country team Saturday earned a top 5 finish at the Missouri Southern Stampede.

Andrew Dawson crossed the finish line first for the team, placing 24th. 369 runners competed in total.

RESULTS:

24th - Andrew Dawson - 16:10.47

28th - Noah Lankard - 16:14.71

69th - James Baldassaro - 16:53.42

70th - James Dalrymple - 16:53.43

108th - Aaron Dawson - 17:16.28

112th - Rylan Davis - 17:17.08

The team finished 5th out of 44 schools. The boys scored 278 points with a 1:05 1-5 split and 16:41 average.
