Webb City hosted the Red Bird Invitational on Saturday, finishing 5th in the 12 team event.  This finish was accomplished with the Cardinals only competing with a team of 11 members.  

Eli Swaim captured diving gold with a pool and meet record of 396.95 points.  Hayden Hickman finished 6th in the event, highlighted by a reverse 1 1/2.

Austin Andrews earned his ticket to the state meet capturing the gold in the 200IM with a qualifying time of 2:07.   

Tucker Palone finished 6th in the 500 Free, grabbing 9 team points for his effort.  

On the day there were six meet records broken in the 12 events.

The team will hit the water again on Tuesday as the go to Springfield to face Hillcrest, Marshfield, Sedalia, Logan-Rogersville and Central in dual competition
