Cardinals snap skid with 30 point win at Heritage

A sluggish first quarter found the Cardinals trailing 15-11, but a 12-0 run over a nearly four minute span in the middle of the second quarter, punctuated by a steal and slam dunk from Trae Turner, gave Webb City the lead they would not surrender as the pulled away to a 79-49 win at Heritage to snap a two game skid.

Another 10-0 scoring spree in the middle of the third helped the Cardinals out score the Eagle 25-10 in the quarter to build a 58-37 lead.  

Jackson Adams led the team scoring 19 points followed by Trae Turner with 13.  Holden Johnson grabbed a team high 7 rebounds while also scoring 11 points to help the Cardinal bench outscore the Eagle bench 29-8.  The defensive forced 25 Eagle turnover, converting them into 38 points.

Webb City will travel to Kansas City on Friday night with a game at Hy-Vee Arena as part of the 12 Courts of Christmas.
