Webb City earned a 35-33 victory over East Newton with a late field goal.

The Cardinals only trailed twice in the game.  The Patriots hit a free throw for a 1-0 lead, but the Cardinals led throughout the game.  Webb City, ahead 15-13 at halftime and 28-22 after three quarters were outscored 11-7 in the final period.  East Newton finally took the lead in the final minute, 33-32, before Trey Gibson hit a three pointer with 3.9 seconds left to earn the win.

Gibson scored 12 points to lead the Cardinals and Kaden Roy added 10.

Webb City will host Monett on Tuesday.
