Webb City took charge early and sped past Morrilton, Ark., 61-31 Wednesday night in the boys division of the Neosho Holiday Tournament.

The Cardinals will play Fort Bend (Texas) Travis at 7 p.m. today in the second semifinal game at the Neosho High School Gymnasium.

Webb City, 6-2, jumped ahead 17-6 after one quarter. It was 29-21 at halftime, then a more comfortable 49-27 after three quarters.

Junior Phoenix Johnson scored 22 points to spark the Webb City offense. Nate Brown, also a junior, added 11.
