The Webb City boys beat out Nevada 69-43. Breckin Williams led the Cardinals with 18 points. Dillon Wales had 15 including three 3-pointers and Austin Daniel had 11.

Ahead at the half 37-16, the 12-5 Cardinals shot 45%. They played well on defense, according to coach David Shearer. "We played as a team and played within ourselves tonight," he said.  "I was pleased with our ball movement and the way we played defense."

The boys resume play Thursday at the Bolivar tournament.
