Webb City traveled to Republic for their first road contest of the year and returned home with a 42-0 victory.
After losing a fumble on their first series, the Cardinals found the endzone on their next six possessions. Meanwhile the defense held the Tigers to less than 200 yards of total offense, forcing two fumbles and grabbing an interception.
Durand Henderson scampered in from 31 yards to open the scoring to cap an eight play, 63 yard drive.
One play after Javis Berlin recovered a fumble on the next Tiger possession at the sixteen yard line, quarterback Cash Link lofted a touchdown pass to Treyton Simmons for 14-0 lead.
The defense forced the Tigers to attempt a punt on their next possession. After a bad snap, Brady Bockenfeld tackled the Republic punter at the eight yard line on the final play of the first quarter. The offense only needed one play, a run by Jacob Gettings, to score their third touchdown.
The Tigers put together one of their better drives of the game, moving into Cardinal territory. A blitz sack by Jordon Rogers and then a interception by defensive lineman Tyler Morehead put an end to the threat.
Link scored three plays later, keeping the ball around the left end, for a fifty eight yard touchdown run. Senior running back Will Larson finished the first half scoring, plunging in from one yard out to put the Cardinals ahead 35-0 going in the half time.
The offense extended their lead to 42-0 on the first possession of the second half. A 14 yard pass to Terrell Kabala highlighted the 7 play - 56 yard drive. Link finished the drive with his second touchdown run and Sergio Perez followed with his seventh extra point kick of the game.
The Cardinals (3-0) will be on the road again next week as they travel to Willard.
