A pinch hit single from Barret Weller and a bout of wildness from the Indians bullpen gave the Cardinals the final run they needed in a 4-3 win at Seneca.
Webb City got on the board first when Andrew Young tripled to deepest part of the park and a sacrifice fly from Brock Renfro gave the Cardinals a quick 1-0 lead.
The Cardinals loaded the bases in the third on back to back singles from Andrew Young and Luke Beverlin and Brock Renfro being hit by a pitch. Mason Young drove in two with a single down the right field line and Webb City had extended its lead to 3-0.
The Indians cut into the lead with two unearned runs in the bottom of the inning. The number eight and nine hitters reached on errors and scored on a sac fly and base hit.
The game was tied up in the fifth as the Indians pushed across a two out run.
In the decisive sixth, Barret Weller stroked a one out single back up the middle. Dawson McMullen reentered the game for Weller and promptly stole second base. After a pitching change with two outs, a walk to Andrew Young and an intentional pass to Luke Beverlin loaded the bases. A wild pitch let McMullen score the winning run.
Andrew Young went 2-3 on the day with Luke Beverlin reaching base all four times with a base hit and three walks. Brock Renfro drove in two.
Rylan Bell worked five innings in earning the win. Limiting the Indians to three runs, only one earned, he scattered five hits while striking out five. Austin Miller picked up the save, allowing only one hit over the final two innings.
