Webb City picked up their fourth consecutive win as they got past McDonald County 8-1 on Friday night.
Andrew Young manufactured the first run of the game as walked, stole second, moved to third on a ground out and scampered home on an rbi groundout from Brock Renfro.
Four more runs would score in the third. Back to back walks to Karsen Myers and Renfro opened the frame. Then Luke Beverlin and Mason Young both stroked rbi singles to left. Bryer Robinson walked to load the bases. Hudson Byrd and Bryson Bard drove in the final two runs with rbi ground balls.
A single run in the fourth and two more in the sixth finished the scoring.
Rylan Bell picked up the win in his first varsity start. Facing one batter over the minimum, he needed only 48 pitches to get through his five innings of work. He struck out five, allowing two hits. Brennan Burgess worked the final two innings.
Webb City will be at home on Saturday to take on the Irish of Springfield Catholic
