The Cardinals dropped an 8-3 decision at home to the Nixa Eagles on Tuesday.
Nixa put three runs on the board in the first inning, but the Cardinals responded with two of their own in the bottom of the inning and one more in the second to tie the game at 3-3.
In the first, Luke Beverlin drove in the first run with a bases loaded single and Brody Eggleston forced in the second by drawing a walk. In the second, Brock Renfro delivered a run scoring single to tie the game.
The Eagles would get a single tally in the fourth and four more in the fifth to grab the win.
Offensively, Brock Renfro and Luke Beverlin garnered two hits on the day. Each of them and Brody Eggleston drove in one run. Andrew Young scored twice from the lead off position.
Tate Lewis took the loss, working 3 1/3, allowing 4 runs.
Webb City will take on Waynesville on Wednesday at home.
