In the first two meets of the year, two Cardinals athletes set new school records.
At the Willard throws, junior Louden Bolinger broke a 20 year old shot put record with a throw of 58' 7.1" (17.86M) breaking the previous record by almost three inches.
At the McDonald County Stampede one week later, sophomore Chasney Brown broke a nine year old record when she won the 200M sprint with a time of 25.69.
