The Cardinals (15-3, 8-0) claimed the COC championship with a 4-1 victory over the Republic Tigers on Thursday.
After Republic scored first on a leadoff triple and one-out single, Keira Jackson delivered on opposite field triple and scored on misplayed grounder off the bat of Stacy Tyndall to even the game at 1 after the first inning.
Peyton Hawkins started the third inning with a single and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt from Jackson. Tyndall reached on fielders choice to put runners at the corners and Haidyn Berry drove them both home with a double to the right center field fence (Click here for highlight) and a 3-1 lead.
Jackson, Berry and Blinzler each had two hits on the day.
Berry earned the win, scattering six hits and striking out 13 and not walking a batter.
Webb City will travel to Kansas City for the weekend before finishing conference play at Carthage on Tuesday and their final home game next Thursday with Kickapoo.
